The widest choice in the range, built on one restrained shape. The Halden Morandi Matte Minimalist Pendant Light hangs a shallow domed shade from a slim stem, and then offers that shade in fourteen different finishes, from powder-coated metal in ivory, dark olive and dark bronze through to brick red, sand gray, coated celadon, pink and brass. Each is finished in the muted Morandi register, where color is present but never loud.
Glass options sit alongside the metal, in clear, seeded, smoke, frosted and milk white, and each changes what the fixture does after dark. Metal shades throw light down in a defined cone, ideal over a countertop or a table. Glass shades let light through the shade as well as beneath it, filling a room more evenly. Hardware comes in antique brass or matte black to suit either direction.
Three sizes are offered, so Halden can serve as a small accent, a standard dining pendant or a single large statement. Group three of the smallest over an island, or hang one of the largest low over a round table. Mixing shade finishes across a run is possible, though a single finish usually reads as more deliberate.
