The Suna Wabi Sabi Tactile Resin Sand Pendant Light takes its cue from a Japanese idea of beauty that is quiet rather than decorative. The shade is a sand-textured resin dome, matte and slightly irregular, so the surface catches light unevenly the way a plastered wall does. Lit, it glows softly at the edges and throws a warm pool downward. Unlit, it still holds its place in a room as an object.
Several tones are offered across two shapes. Cloud Lunar Day is the lightest, close to raw plaster or pale sand, and it recedes into a white or off-white ceiling. Cloud Lunar Night is deeper and greyer, and it anchors a room with darker cabinetry or exposed timber. Sand Dune and Tan Red carry more color, and each is offered in the rounded Cloud shape or the tapered Cone.
Five diameters run from 12" / 30 cm to 32" / 80 cm, covering everything from a single pendant over a bedside to a large shade over a dining table. It suits wabi-sabi, Japandi, minimalist and coastal rooms, and pairs with oak, linen, lime plaster and unglazed ceramic. The drop is set at installation. Installation is hardwired to a ceiling box.
