Setup guide (about 5 minutes)
This is not a fan-driven yard inflatable. There is nothing to plug in and nothing running through the night. It is a sealed air chamber, inflated once and sealed, exactly like a beach ball. That is why it can go somewhere a powered inflatable cannot.
- Unfold it and find the valve. Open the stopper.
- Inflate to 55 cm (21.65"). A hand or electric pump is quickest, but it inflates by mouth. Stop when it is firm and round but not hard.
- Inflate during the warmest part of the day and do not over-inflate in heat. Air expands as it warms and contracts as it cools, so a ball filled hard in afternoon sun puts the seams under real strain.
- Seal the valve and press the stopper flush so it sits flat against the surface.
- Place it. To hang, loop twine, fishing line or a zip tie around it and suspend it from a branch, a porch beam or an awning. To ground it, nestle it into a shrub, a hedge or dense planting where the foliage holds it in place.
No stakes are supplied, and staking is not how this one is meant to be used. On open lawn with nothing to hold it, a ball this size will roll in wind.
Care and common questions

Storage. Open the valve, press the air out, wipe it clean and let it dry fully before folding. Fold loosely rather than creasing hard in the same place each year, and keep it away from anything sharp in the box.
An oversized bloodshot eyeball does something most Halloween props do not, which is to be unsettling without being gory. At 55 cm across, just under two feet, the iris print and red vein detailing carry from the street, and the scale is the joke: a single enormous eye staring out of a hedge reads faster than a whole scene of smaller pieces.

Three colors are offered. Red is the most conventionally gruesome. Blue and green push it toward something stranger and less human, which tends to work better next to other props rather than competing with them. It packs down flat enough that a set of three stores in a single box, and because nothing in it can fail electrically, it is the piece most likely to come back out working in a few years.
