Artificial pumpkins earn their place by lasting. A real one on a mantel is a two-week proposition at best and a mess at the end of it, where a foam pumpkin goes out in late September and stays through Thanksgiving without changing. There is no carving, no smell and nothing to throw out. Lightweight foam means the set sits on a floating shelf or a windowsill without concern about the load.
Five finishes cover different intentions. Orange is the straightforward seasonal choice. White and gold read closer to harvest and autumn styling than to Halloween, which means they can stay out past October alongside candles and dried stems. Black and bronze black are the Halloween-specific ones, and they work hardest next to darker paint or a black candlestick.
Seven pumpkins across four sizes is enough to style a whole mantel rather than fill a single gap. Clustering in odd numbers reads as intentional, so group three at one end, tuck a mini beside a candlestick and let the large one anchor the middle. The same set also works as a table centerpiece with a runner and candles filling around it. At the end of the season it all stores in one box without bruising or rotting, and comes out identical the following autumn.
