An embroidered runner does more than a printed one at the same distance. The maple leaves here are stitched with textured edges, so the surface catches light and the detail holds up when someone is sitting at the table rather than looking at it from the door. Reds, oranges and browns run through the design, which is the autumn palette rather than a Halloween one.
Four lengths cover different tables. The 11 by 17 inch is a console or a small side table. The 16 by 33.5 inch suits a square or round dining table. The 14 by 69 inch runs a standard six-seat table, and the 14 by 87 inch covers a long eight-seat or a buffet with overhang at both ends. Measure the table first and allow six to eight inches of drop at each end.
The woven microfiber polyester blend sits flat without pressing and resists the creasing linen picks up in storage. Spot clean or hand wash gently, which is what a stitched runner wants rather than a machine cycle. Because the design is seasonal rather than specifically Halloween, it goes down in late September and stays through Thanksgiving, which is a longer run than most of what comes out of the autumn box.
