Faux fleece is the reason to pick this one over a printed cotton cover. The pile is deep enough to feel like a winter throw, so the cushion works as something to actually hold on a sofa rather than only as styling, and the pumpkin pattern runs across a soft surface instead of a flat woven one. The pattern is festive without being cartoonish.
