The Kaisu Japandi Wabi Sabi Wood Stone Pendant Light is not: the shade is yellow cave stone, paired with wood, and the difference shows the moment it is lit. Stone does not simply block or pass light the way a metal shade does. It holds a little of it, so the shade itself glows faintly at the edges and the light coming down is warmer and less defined than it would be from a hard surface.
