The Aurelle Vintage Amber Glass Semi-Flush Ceiling Light pairs a warm amber-yellow shade with a brass frame, held just below the ceiling on a short stem so a little light escapes upward and softens the join between wall and ceiling. Eleven inches across and under ten inches deep, it suits rooms where a full pendant would hang too low.
The glass is the point here. Its amber cast turns an ordinary bulb into something closer to candlelight, and the effect is strongest with a warm filament LED. Two finishes are offered: an aged brass with visible depth and tonal variation, and a brighter electroplated copper for rooms that want more shine. A single E26 socket takes LED, incandescent or fluorescent bulbs, so the fixture can be tuned from dim and golden to bright and practical.
Aurelle works particularly well in hallways, studies, bedsides and small bedrooms, and in period properties where a modern flat diffuser would look out of place. It is equally at home in a contemporary room as the one warm, older-feeling object in the space, the piece that stops everything else reading as new.
