The Lisette Vintage Sculptural Colored Glass Table Lamp sets a tapered shade on a slim turned base, and the whole thing is deliberately modest in scale, so it can sit on a console, a bedside table or a desk without taking the space a larger lamp would demand.
Eight shade colors are offered, in white, green, blue, pink, lavender, orange, yellow and frosted glass, each on a base in matte black. The white and frosted shades give the most even, diffused light and make the most sensible reading lamps. The stronger colors behave more like objects than light sources, throwing a soft tint onto the wall behind and coming into their own in the evening.
Lisette suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways, and pairs directly with the matching Lisette wall sconce and scallop semi-flush pendant if you want a room to read as one coordinated scheme rather than a set of separate decisions. The shade takes a slim tubular bulb rather than a rounded one, so look for a T10 or T30 shape. Indoor dry locations only.
