The Delane Mid Century Sculptural Dome Vanity Wall Light arranges two or three domed shades along a straight horizontal arm, each angled to throw light forward onto a face rather than down onto a countertop. That single decision is what separates a fixture you can actually apply makeup or shave under from one that only looks the part.
Shades come in black or white, and the metalwork is offered in seven finishes: antique brass, raw brass, sealed brass, polished nickel, brushed nickel, black and a two-tone black with antique brass. Raw brass will patinate over time into something warmer and less uniform, while the sealed and plated finishes hold their original tone. Choosing between them is really a choice about whether you want the fixture to age.
Delane suits bathrooms, powder rooms, hallways and dressing areas. Mount it above a mirror for even, shadow-free light, or fit a pair vertically either side of the glass for the flattering cross-light that photographers use. The arm can also be mounted with the domes facing up if you prefer bounced light off the ceiling. Hardwired to a wall box.
